I wrote about the stampede. Yet I know from dreams that Deirdre soon didn't
bother hiding the rebel hand in the soldiers' misfortunes. And I dreamed that the commanding officer was
called "Sarge", even though he had a whole lot more troops under him than is
normal for a sergeant. Some of the tents
were khaki, some were olive, a few were blue, and many patched with colors
other than the original. I surmise that
scattered men and decimated ranks just kept accumulating under him.
I wrote the caraway scene.
I dreamed that, as Randy, I played up
my "little brother" role to the hilt, taking advantage of Don whenever I could,
especially regarding goodies "owed" to me.
It became a running joke between us.
Again, though, without details.
I dreamed of Zanne and Cybil eating
lunch together, but made up the conversation.
Zanne's religion is more clearly explained in "The Poison Gamble". I
imagine that Cybil would be relieved to learn that Zanne's not a Chapelbodlian,
because Zanne's delight in deceptions would mark her as outcast from that
community and not to be trusted; Cybil has no idea how close to accurate that
is!
